Getting Ready for Your Session

No account needed to check in.

Please review the tips below for your virtual session

and check in to your secure session when ready.

Tips for Virtual Session:

Getting started:

  • Check in a few minutes early in case you have difficulty with your camera

  • Ensure you have a good internet connection or cell service if you are not using the internet

  • Find a quiet, well lit space = ideally free from siblings, pets, external noise when possible

  • Do NOT bundle up your child with multiple layers

  • Have 1-3 small toys available

  • Pacifier, burp cloth, bottle if applicable

Camera:

  • Cell phone, ipad, tablet, laptop

  • Place on the floor or surface child is on = do not elevate or hold the camera

  • Prop camera against a stationary object if needed = wall, furniture, toy, etc.

  • Avoid facing the camera toward a window = if unavoidable, close curtains/blinds

  • The person handling your child will need to see the screen/video = adjust the screen accordingly

  • If wearing ear buds/pods = the person handling the child will need to be the one using them

Positioning of you and your little one:

  • Ideally your child will be on the floor with enough room for you to sit next to and also behind them

  • Do NOT place them on anything that has dangling toys over them, on fluffy blankets they will sink in, or by anything that impedes their movement

  • Place child approximately 3 feet away from camera (we can adjust if needed from there)

  • If you are using your bed = place child on fitted sheet (pull back blankets) with you standing next to the bed

Remember, NO videos, recordings, or pictures allowed
